Luce Irigaray studied how women use and abuse language as a philosopher, psycholinguist, psychoanalyst, and cultural theorist. Certain dichotomous confrontations, she claims, have left a coercive impact on culture. To describe A for A, dichotomy makes a clear distinction between A and B. When I describe men as A and women as B, one of the representative examples that oppresses B by creating a word only for A is the word "snowman." A snow sculpture does not have a gender in the Korean language. Instead, it's referred to as a snow-person. I was hesitant to name the snow sculpture in my mother's picture a man when I described it. Since it wears earrings and lipstick and has two large breasts, its appearance is obviously a female.

I found that the presence of men and women in the language system should be equivalent. The language of women lags behind that of men. Despite the fact that B is incomparable to A, it is considered as a separate part of A. This leads to pollution and perplexity. Women have been categorized as either confrontational or complementary when opposed to men in this way.

I was confronted with the fact that my mother was regarded as a type-A man. For me, she is not female, -A or something underestimated. She is just a nice person who is a capable employee.

I used to follow her to her workplace. I liked it because there were a lot of her colleagues who gave me snacks and pocket money. One day, I saw her business card on her desk. β€œ Female Vice-chairperson of labor Union.” I wondered why she could not be the main chairperson. When I attended the election of the labor union, there were several candidate teams. All of them consisted of one male main chairperson, two male vice-chairpersons, and one female vice-chairperson. I wonder why there is only one female member per team.
The moment I saw the moment she tried to change the world where women are not -A of men.

When I was young, I used to go to her workplace once a month. Sometimes, I used to play with her coworkers. Sometimes, I used to participate in demonstrations to organize a group of people and address employees' rights. At that time, I was too young to understand what she was doing in the cold weather. Whenever she delivered a speech, I was eating some snacks on a stage standing next to her. Everybody sang scary songs and shouted. I saw policemen obstructing us.

I remember that one day, she told me, "Haeun, I hope you will be a feminist in the future." At that time, I could not understand what a feminist is, why it is so important for her and why she wants me to be a feminist. Years later, I googled her and her company.I found an old short interview with her. She was not a mom, but she was one of the head members of the labor union, especially for women employees. She said, "Recently, some banks have been acting on behalf of allocated 10 to 15 percent of female employees for the promotion of the section chief, It’s late, but I really welcome the introduction of a significant quota system even now. She argues that femininity can be differentiated from or escaped from masculine principles because it generates new definitions on a regular basis. This metaphor is expressed in a contradictory order. Multiple contractions of identity and trials to reformat the concept of identity are addressed in Feminine Morphology. She criticizes the dominant discourse, not the sense of dependency, but the dominant discourse itself, which focuses solely on solidity, entirety, and so on. This is why I like my explosions because they tackle my various contractions. Explosives play with gender definitions and can also render them meaningless by obscuring the nuances.
